Work Order Query

The Work Order Query frame is similar to the Work Order Management frame but allows you to focus on specific work order jobs.

Selection Criteria

You can select filters within Selection Criteria to generate query results. A value is required in at least one of the following fields: Unit, Dept, Comp, Work Order, MCC, Tech Spec, or Requisition No. If all of the fields are blank, you will not be able to generate the query.

 

You can filter on one, all, or any combination of selection criteria filters, and then select Retrieve.

You can only enter Work Order Complete Date Range and Work Order Close Date Range when you select a status of Completed or Closed.

 

Query Results i-frame

The Query Results i-frame displays the results that match your selection criteria.

You can limit access to attachments via a security template for this frame on Menu Maintenance.

Total

Displays the totals for Labor Hours, Labor Cost, Part Cost, Comm Cost, and Total Cost.

System Flags

Flag No. Description Notes
5001 Adopting 3-char SYSTEM code/10-char JOB code? This flag allows the user to define how they wish their job codes to display. If "Y", a 3-char system code is needed with the job code like 02-013-001. If "N" (the default), M5 utilizes the standard job code like 02-13-001.
5010 Client Prefix Code This system flag sets the Client Prefix Code, usually set by AssetWorks.
5283 Default the location on query screens to login location (Y/N)? If the flag is "Y", the location on Work Order Query, Work Order Job Query/Work Order Management and Work Request Query screens will have a default value of login location. If the flag is "N", the location will be blank.
5301 Job Note Read Only?(Y/N) If the flag is set to "Y", the job notes will be read only. If set to "N", job notes field will be open for editing.
5376 Display job related descriptions Y/N If the system flag is set to "Y", it will display three additional columns, Job Description, Job Reason Desc, Job Status Desc to the right of each associated code; If the system flag is set to "N", it will retain existing structure and also be the system flag default to preserve current display.
5428 Validate project code on JOB? (Y/N) If "Y", the project code must be a valid project code created in the table PROJECT_CODE. If this flag is "N", the user can enter the project code as a free form field.
5430 Enable WO Project Codes? (Y/N) Default is "N" to preserve existing functionality. If "Y", display WO Project Code Column on Work order Main and Work Order Query.
5433 Display Primary Job Status Description? Y/N The default value is "N". When set to "Y", the wo lead job status field will be displayed on commercial work order entry, work order query and booking appointments screens; For work order main/express, the field visibility is controlled by the 'WO Leading Job Status' attribute on the screen designer work order information control.
5485 # Of Days Back For Work Order Query Open Date Range On the Work Order Query screen, show work orders opened this number of days back. For example, if set to 365, work orders opened within the last 365 days will be shown.
