Product Location Inventory Adjustment

This Product Inventory Adjustment frame allows you to make periodic adjustments when needed to reconcile the fuel inventory quantities in the system.

There are several environmental factors can cause discrepancies between the actual amount of fuel in the tank versus the amount showing on the system inventory. Evaporation and temperature changes can cause a difference or the adjustment may be needed to correct an amount received or lost due to a fuel spill.

The indirect account involved may also be adjusted here. You can also make adjustments after performing a tank stick measurement. See the Product Tank Sticking frame for this type of adjustment.

To make an inventory adjustment for a fuel product, enter a valid product number from Product Main or double click in the field to select one from the list of values (LOV).

Next, enter a valid Fuel Location for the product number. Enter or select a valid Tank No. from the list of values (LOV). The Capacity, Unit Price, Before Qty, Tank Minimum and Tank Maximum values will populate automatically.

Enter the new, adjusted quantity in the Adjustment Quantity field. You can also enter a new price for the product in the New Unit Price field.

The Effective Date will default to the current date, but you can change it to a different date if necessary. Enter an Indirect Account or double click to select one from the list of values (LOV)- must be a valid indirect account for fuel.
