Driver Status Codes

Driver Status Codes are user-defined codes that identify the current status of a driver for reviewing and reporting purposes. For example, A - Active, I - Inactive, S - Suspended, or L - Leave of Absence.

Create

To create a Driver Status Code click in the blank Code field and enter a new status code. This field has a limit of one character. Enter a description in the Description field. This field has a limit of 20 characters,

The Inactive flag box indicates whether or not the status code represents an 'Active' or 'Inactive' status type. This allows for the creation of other status codes, like S - Suspended, so that drivers can be tagged for specific review and actions while still being treated as active or inactive.

When finished entering the code, click the Save icon at the top of the frame. The code will now be available for use on Driver Main entries.

Modify

You can modify the description of an existing code as well as the Inactive flag check box. After all changes are made, click the Save icon to update the record.

Disable

To disable a Driver Status Code, check the Disabled flag box at the end of the row of the code you want to disable. Click the Save icon.

Delete

You can delete a code provided it is not in use on any other tables in the system. If the code is in use, you will not be able to delete it from the list.

To delete a Driver Status Code that is not in use, click in the row of the code you want to delete to make it active. Click the Delete icon (Red X). The selected row will turn red. Click the Save icon to delete the code from the system.
