Product Location Tank Hose Settings

Once you have established your Tanks and Tank Types and the Products assigned to them, you can now indicate which hose is associated with which tank/product combination. Hose numbers are user-defined but must correspond to valid tank/product combinations.

Create

To create new tank hose records, enter a valid Fuel Location or double click in the field to select one from the list of values (LOV). Your current login location will be the default value.

In the blank Hose No. field, enter a new hose number. This field has a limit of five characters (numeric). After entering the new hose number, enter a corresponding Tank Number or double click in the field to select one from the list of values (LOV).

The related information for the tank, Group Type, Tank Group, Product No, and Description, will populate automatically. You can also enter a valid Dedicated Card Number for the hose. These cards must already by setup in the system. See Product Fuel Cards.

EVR II Compliance indicates Enhanced Vapor Recovery status on the hose, check this box if this is to be enforced on the particular hose.

The Defueling Hose check box allows you to designate a hose that is used to remove fuel from the tank of a unit. The quantity of fuel involved in this transaction will appear as a negative issue. It is possible to perform a negative issue on a transaction from a hose marked as a defueling hose in order to perform a "credit" or reversal on the transaction.

Modify

To make modifications to a hose or hoses at a location, enter or select the fuel location to load the list of hoses.

You can change the Tank No. and Dedicated Card No. if necessary as well as the EVR II Compliance flag. When finished, click the 'Save' button at the top of the frame to update the record.

When you are finished setting up the hose or hoses for the fueling location, click the 'Save' button at the top of the frame.

Delete

You can delete hoses provided the hose number is not in use on any other tables in the system. To delete a hose that is not in use, click in the row of the hose to make it active. Click the 'Delete' button (Red X) at the top of the frame. The selected row will turn red. Click the 'Save' button to delete the record from the list.
