Fee Code Maintenance

The Fee Code Maintenance frame allows you to define sub-codes for each Fee Code entered on the Fee Codes frame. You can also define the details for those sub-codes.

Create

  1. To create new sub-code details, click in the Fee Code field in the Sub-Fee Code section at the top of the frame. You can either enter an existing code or double-click in the field to select one from the list of values (LoV). NOTE: only codes already created can be used here.
  2. The Description associated with the code selected will populate automatically and the sub-code details will load on the i-frame below (if this is your first time setting up sub-code details the i-frame rows will be blank).
  3. Click in Code field of the first empty row and enter a new code. This field supports up to 15 alphanumeric characters.
  4. Next, enter a description in the Description field. This field supports up to 100 alphanumeric characters.
  5. Select Notifiable or Non-notifiable from the drop-down (can be left blank).
  6. Select Mandatory or Validated from the drop-down (can be left blank).
  7. When finished entering the code details, click the Save button at the top of the frame.

Edit

  1. To edit an existing code, follow the same process as above to load data on the frame.
  2. Only the Description, drop-down menus, and the Disabled box fields on the iFrame are changeable. The Code field for existing codes is read-only.
  3. After you have made the requisite changes, click the Save button at the top of the frame to update the record.

Delete

  1. To delete an existing code, click in the row of the code you want to delete to make it active.
  2. Click the Delete button at the top of the frame. The selected row will turn red.
  3. Click the Save button to confirm the action. The system will process the request and remove the code.
  4. NOTE: codes must not be in use on any other tables in M5, otherwise the system will not let you delete them.

Disable

  1. To disable an active code, check the Disabled flag box at the end of the row for the code you want to disable.
  2. Click Save to update the record.
  3. To reactive a disabled code, simply repeat this process by unchecking the flag box and clicking save.
