The Employee Number Change frame allows you to change an existing employee number to a new employee number while still preserving the historical data from the original employee number.
Changing an Employee Number
To change an existing number to a new number, enter the existing employee number in the Employee ID field in the Existing Employee Information section. The Description field and the Status field will automatically populate.
In the New Employee Information Section, type in the new employee number. This field has a limit of ten characters. Once you have entered the new number, click the Save icon at the top of the frame.
Upon saving, you will be redirected to the Employee Main frame. You can make any necessary edits to the new employee number here.
