The Employee Group frame allows you to create and maintain groups of employees who share a common location for the purpose of assigning the group to jobs.
To create a new employee group, enter a valid location from Location Main or double click in the field to select one from the list of values (LOV). Enter a new Employee Group Code. This field has a limit of 11 characters (alphanumeric).
Press tab or enter. You will receive a popup asking if you are sure you want to create the new group. Click Create to confirm. A list of all employees assigned to the location will display below.
Employee No. - The Employee Number is a hyperlink that takes you to the Employee Main frame.
Employee Name - Employee Name from the Employee Main frame.
Location - The employee's assigned location.
Shift - Employee's shift code from Shift Maintenance.
Job Title - Title from the Job Information section on Employee Main.
Skill - Skill Level from the Job Information section on Employee Main.
In Other Group - Yes/No. If this field displays 'No', then the employee is not in any other employee groups. If it displays 'Yes', the employee is in other employee groups. You can hover over the word 'Yes' to display a tool tip with the names of the other employee groups.
Include - Check this flag to include the employee in this particular employee group. If this flag box is not checked, the employee will not be included in the group.
