Driver Group Management

 

The Driver Group Management allows for the grouping of driver's in to named groups for the purpose of scheduling/forecasting driver events (see Driver Event Risk Management).

 

Create

 

To create a new group, enter the group name in the Driver Group field at the top of the frame. This field has a limit of 20 alphanumeric characters. You will receive a prompt to confirm you want to create the new group. Click 'Create' to continue.

 

You can then filter on different selection criteria to search for drivers to add to the group. Drivers matching the filters will appear in the left column after you click the 'Retrieve' button.

 

To add drivers to the group, click the driver names you want to add to make them active and then click the >> button to move them over to the right column. When finished click the 'Save' button at the top of the frame to update the group.

 

Modify

 

You can also modify existing groups by entering the group name or double-clicking in the Driver Group field to select one from the list of values (LOV). You can then add or remove group members as necessary. When finished modifying, click the 'Save' button to update the group.

 

Delete

 

You can delete a group provided it is not in use anywhere else in the system. To delete a group that is not in use, you must first remove all group members by using the << button to move them back into the left column. Then you can click the group name to make the 'Delete' button active.
