Driver Event Classes are user-defined codes that define different driver events for reporting purposes. These Driver Event Classes are associated with Driver Event Types to group "like" events together.
Examples of Driver Events include: Accidents, Training, Tests, Medical Situations, etc.
Create
To create a new Driver Event Class, click in the empty Class field and enter a new code. This field has a limit of 12 characters. Enter a description for the Event Class. This field has a limit of 24 characters.
For Example - ACC - Accident, TRAIN - Driver Training, TEST - Driver Exam.
Modify
You can only modify the descriptions of existing codes. To modify a description for an existing code, click in the Description field and type a new description over the old one. Click Save to update the record.
Disable
To disable an Event Class, check the Disabled flag in the row of the code you want to disable. Click the Save button.
Delete
You can delete a Driver Event Class provided it is not in use on any other tables in the system. If the code is in use, you will not be able to delete it from the list.
To delete an Event Class that is not in use, click in the row of the code you want to delete. Click the Delete button (Red x). The selected row will turn red. Click the Save button to delete the record from the system.
