Driver Event Calendar
The Driver Event Calendar allows you to view the Driver Event Schedule for the upcoming months. This allows you to make sure certain days are not overloaded with driver appointments or, for example, if a certain driver is scheduled to come in twice in one week or on back to back days, you could combine the events so the driver only has to come in once.
The purpose of this screen is not to display overdue events or event scores -- see the event query frames for that information (Department Driver Scores Query, Department Event Query, Driver Event Query).
This frame works in conjunction with the planning/forecasting stage of the Driver Risk Management process, see Driver Event Risk Management for more information on creating events with future dates either manually or by forecasting.
You can filter on different selection criteria for the Driver Event Calendar. You can enter a specific Driver No., Department, Event Class, Event Type, Month, Year. You can also use the Previous Month and Next Month buttons to view different months.
When finished entering your search criteria, click the 'Retrieve' button to run the query. Each record that matches your filters will display on the Driver Event Calendar i-frame.
The Driver Number will display in the first column, followed by a column for each day in the selected month. Any days where the driver has a scheduled event will display a number. That number represents the amount of events. For example, if the number is three, the driver has three events scheduled that day.
You can hover the mouse over the number on a particular day to display a tool tip that lists the specific events. The events are hyperlinks that will open the Driver Event Entry frame for that specific event.
If you want to run another query, click the 'Clear' button to clear the results and your filters. Repeat the steps above with new criteria to run the query again.
