The Mass License Renewal frame is an interface that allows you to update license and permit renewal information for multiple units all at one time. This interface can be run on the frame itself or via the Interface Manager.
Using the search criteria, you can display query results for units by Parking/Maintenance Location, Unit Status, License Type, License State, or the Current Start and Expiration Dates listed on the license. You can filter by one of these criteria or a combination. Once you have determined your search criteria, click Retrieve to generate the results.
Below the search criteria section, a Count will display in the License Renewal Count section. To view a list of the licenses or permits, click the List Licenses button.
Next, you can enter Date Update Options:
Option 1 gives you the ability to enter in new Start and Expiration Date information.
Option 2 gives you the ability to extend the Expiration date by a certain number of days.
Run the Interface
Once you have your Date Update Options set, click the Submit button at the bottom of the frame.
Note: The number of records being updated will have an impact on how long the interface run will take.
When the run is complete, the information will appear in the Renew Statistics section at the top of the frame. The interface run will be assigned a Stat ID and the Date and Time of the run will be displayed next to it. You will also be able to see how many total records were process, how many passed and how many failed.
The number in the Failed field is a hyperlink to bring up the Mass License Renewal Reject List. You can get more information on which record failed and what cause it to fail and then resubmit any rejects from there.
See the Asset Management Application Training guide for more information.
